Storm Protection
It seems like we've been having a lot of severe weather lately. We had some minor flooding problems here in New York this week, as a result of torrential rains on Monday, and I hear on the news about flooding in Texas, southern England and China. It's really got me thinking, would I be ready if my home was faced with a serious flood? Would you?
I found some helpful tips on the Home Safety Council's website. Some of their advice for preparing for a severe storm or hurricane, includes checking your roof for any damaged areas where water could get inside and do even more harm. Also make sure that your gutters aren't clogged. Clogged gutters could back up and send more water into your home.
Strong rains are usually accompanied by strong winds, so make sure you check your yard before the storm hits. Make sure that you don’t have any trees planted too close to your home or power lines, and remember to keep trees well pruned. Uprooted tree trunks and broken tree limbs can do serious damage to your windows and roof during a strong storm. Anything that is not nailed down during a storm with high winds could become a dangerous projectile, so be sure to secure furniture or other items that could become airborne.
Are you already prepared for a storm? What are you doing to make sure that you’re home is protected?

There are some heavy-duty things behind the scenes you should consider, that may beyond the scope of your knowledge.
Oh, it's very good to be prepared: I live in Wyoming, and whatever the season I go NOWHERE without winter gear, a survival kit, and a LIGHTER. I also carry a firearm, we have mountain lions, rattlesnakes, human snakes, grizzlies, etc.
But my point to you is this: I'm glad to see you have the intellect to have read about the historic, from ever recorded, floods in Southern China. You've probably read where they just finished the 3 Gorges Dam.
What no one is telling anyone is that, if that dam goes, it will kill about 1 mil. Red Chinese slave workers in the Pearl Delta industrial WALMART factories downstream. No more WALMART?
Think it over... Our own factories have long ago closed for this - Now we'll have to put all those Mexican immigrants to work! Make them pay Citizenship Taxes! And that will save Social Security...
Well, maybe the Democrats aren't so dumb, after all! Extrapolate...
I've heard that if a large tract of land were heated, like from satellite lasers, just a degree or so, then such high pressure area could stall a weather system and then make it stronger...
Notably, our super hurricanes are matched by super typhoons in Red China... Our heat waves are matched exactly across the hemisphere by historic floods... What an oddity!
Weather Weapons, anyone?
Oh, no, the CIA doesn't do things, like that, any more!
Or do they?
Spread the rumor... And see the fur fly.
