Where the Stars Are Hanging Out This Sunday

AD_GREENROOM_blog.jpg Ever wonder what it's like backstage at the Oscars? It's not all chaos and confusion. Hollywood's elite get to hang out in a pretty swanky space while waiting for their turn on stage. This year's Architectural Digest Greenroom at the OscarsĀ® was designed by Stephen Shadley for Architectural Digest magazine. Shadley designed the room with Hollywood film sets from the seventies in mind. He mixed new and vintage furniture to get this "Seventies Modern" look.

Just a thought, but it occurs to me that the room kind of looks like my mother's living room when I was growing up. She always did have great taste. Wait 'til she hears that style is back in vogue. So what do you think? Do you love it or is it too seventies for you?

Do you love Steven Shadley's Oscar Greenroom?

  • Yes, it's gorgeous
  • No, it's too seventies for me
